Categories of Publication

We invite submissions of original research papers and review articles. All manuscripts should be prepared and submitted in English.

Review Process

1. All submitted papers are subject to peer review by the Editorial Committee. Manuscripts classified as original research papers will be reviewed by two reviewers, whereas review articles will be evaluated by one reviewer. The review process is single blind. The decision to accept or reject a manuscript will be made by the Editorial Committee based on the reviewers’ comments.
2. The Editorial Committee may request authors to revise their manuscripts.
3. If the revised manuscript is not returned within six months, the submission will be considered withdrawn.
4. Once a manuscript is accepted for publication, the corresponding author will be formally notified.

Manuscript Preparation

Acceptable file formats

Manuscripts are accepted only in Microsoft WORD® or LaTeX.

Camera-ready format

IJMSA requires authors to prepare their manuscripts using the following templates:

• MS Word®

  • Template
    (The type of paper can be specified in the document class options.)

Submission Instructions

Please submit the following files to the Editorial Office of IJMSA:

• Cover Sheet
  • Complete the cover sheet.
• Manuscript File
  • For Review
    • Submit only the PDF file, converted from MS Word® or compiled using LaTeX.
    • Line numbering must be enabled for the review process.
    • If the file size exceeds 50 MB, please submit it via a cloud storage service.
  • After Acceptance

The source files in MS Word® or LaTeX format will be required after acceptance.

Data Availability

Authors must include a Data Availability Statement in their manuscript. Examples:

• All data supporting the findings of this study are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request.
• All data generated or analyzed during this study are included in this article and its supplementary files.

No datasets were generated or analyzed during the current study.

Author Contributions Policy

IJMSA requires authors to provide a detailed Author Contributions Statement using the CRediT taxonomy to ensure transparency and accountability in scholarly publishing. Each author’s role in the research and manuscript preparation must be clearly specified. The following contributor roles are recognized:

• Conceptualization: Formulation of ideas; development or refinement of overarching research goals and aims.
• Data Curation: Management and organization of data for initial use and subsequent reuse.
• Formal Analysis: Application of statistical, mathematical, computational, or other formal techniques to analyze or synthesize study data.
• Funding Acquisition: Securing financial support for the project leading to this publication.
• Investigation: Execution of the research and investigation process, including data collection.
• Methodology: Development or design of methodologies; creation of models.
• Project Administration: Management and coordination responsibilities for the research project.
• Resources: Provision of study materials, reagents, patients, laboratory samples, animals, instrumentation, computing resources, or other analytical tools.
• Software: Programming and software development; designing computer programs; implementing code and supporting algorithms; testing existing code components.
• Supervision: Oversight and leadership responsibilities for planning and executing the research activities.
• Validation: Verification of the overall reproducibility and reliability of results, experiments, and other research outputs.
• Visualization: Preparation of figures, tables, and other data presentations.
• Writing – Original Draft: Preparation and creation of the initial manuscript draft.
• Writing – Review & Editing: Critical review, commentary, and revision of the manuscript.
