The Japan Society of Microgravity Application (JASMA) has been established
to promote research activities
and to exchange information obtained through research using microgravity
environment in space or on the
ground (drop tower, aircraft,...). The research area covers various branches
of science such as fluid physics,
crystal growth, material science, combustion, life science, etc.
JASMA's activities involve the organization of academics meetings including
annual meetings, research
meetings, conferences, the editing and publication of society journals,
and information exchange and
cooperation between researchers and institutions both in Japan as well
as in and foreign countries.
