Poster Session for Students

Mohri Prizes named after a Japanese Astronaut Dr. Mohri will be awarded to excellent presentations in this session.  Students are encouraged to present in this session.

Exhibition

Exhibition will be held during the 3rd International Symposium on Physical Sciences in Space 2007 (ISPS 2007), October 22-26, 2007, Nara, Japan. It is a good chance for you to display your latest products, technology and services to international audiences. Exhibition fee includes charge for exhibition booth and registration fee of one person. If you want, you can use a wider booth and/or video display during the conference with extra charge.
<Rental fee>
One 180cm (W) x 200cm (D) x 250cm (H) booth with access to 100V/60Hz electricity, JPY 100,000.

Social Events

<Welcome reception>
All registrants are invited to Welcome Reception that will be held from 17:00 to 19:00 at the Hotel Nikko Nara (Room: Hiten, 4th floor) on Monday, 22 Oct. Welcome Reception is included in the Registration fee.

<Banquet>
Banquet will be held at the Nara-Ken New Public Hall (Shin-kokaido, the Symposium Site) on 25th evening. The Banquet is included in the registration fee.

 

Additional Events

<Japanese tea party>
Dressing Kimono (Japanese clothes) and serving Japanese tea experience tour will be held in the afternoon of 23 of October at the Nakamachi Center. Those who hope to attend Kimono experience and Japanese tea party are requested to register using the registration form. JPY 2500 per person is additionally required. The fee includes tea service and cakes served at tea. The required time is about 3 hours.

<Carving>
Carving experience using Yoshino cedar will be held in the afternoon of 24 of October at the Nara Craft Museum (http://www.eonet.ne.jp/~naramachi/). Those who hope to attend carving experience are requested to register using the registration form. JPY 2500 per person is additionally required. Participants will get their work at the end of the carving experience tour. The required time is about 3 hours.

Nara walk around A (historical course) 9:30 – 12:00

Nara walk around B (down town course) 13:30 – 16:00
(23rd – 26th Oct. max. 15 persons/day)

The volunteer guides will take you around Nara (free of charge but fees to enter temples and shrines are requested). Those who want to take part in the Nara walk around please let the secretary know the name of the course, date, person's name.)
Two courses (A: walk around Nara historical places: 9:30 - 12:00, B: walk around down town Nara: 13:30 - 16:00, max.15 persons every day. 23rd - 26th of October).
